Alice doll hat, is nightmare card crucial?
« on: Oct 13, 2011, 03:47 am »
To cancel out the sleep, I know it's 1/1000 chance to sleep yourself. Which doesn't sound like much but it could mean the difference between getting an asura to the face or not.

I would rather slot a gibbet for the extra m.def really. Do stats reduce the chance of it sleeping or no?

Int reduces the chance of sleeping. 97 = anti-sleep.
The chance of sleeping occurs on attacking.
As a sinx you're supposed to SB->chance to defense gears, next target->put on offensive gears->SB->repeat.
With this said the chance is like near 0 to happen.
From my tests with one on a zerk lk vs a friend lk, I got like 1 sleep after 5 minutes of hitting him at 190 aspd so no, it isn't that needed but some people think that being secure is better and some others don't mind to use one there because it makes it easier for them to attack snipers and have no problems with their ninja sleeps. Depends a bit on if your server has Sunglasses[1] or not and the competition on the server.

Thanks again for the help Triper. I have a Sniper who mostly DS's, and occasionally auto attacks with statuses after an FA is used. It also has around 40-50 int so def can't hit immunue.

There actually are no slotted mid gears either. I think I'm gonna go with a gibbet. =) I already swap into a thara valk, and my server has only 3 skill bars. So I can't afford to sacrifice a slot switching headgears as well.
