PEACE OUT!~

Pandora

Yeah true there's a definite ressemblance, but it's not like either gravity or pokemon invented bats (real animal) or ninetails (japanese folklore legend). And kasa looks like a phoenix a little I guess.
heRO is a great friendly, pre-renweal, unique and fun server with a great community, give it a try!

Don't forget to compare the Turtle dungeon monsters to their respective clones.

Turtwig= Permeter
Heater= Torcoal (Or however you spell it.)

Theres just too many instances of coincidence if you look at it. Not like it matters though, both Pokedamonz and RO use well known cliches and such to make monsters/pokemon.

lol RO's monsters are drawn from myth and real life

things like the chimera = a mythical beast
or something like a hydra = a real life creature

and the ironic thing about that is thats what pokemon does too XD
so you can't really say they copy each other XD (even though it looks like they do x3)

I don't see moltres spamming the hell of meteor storm then thorwing(Ha-haa! Got it?) a bunch of fireballs.
But as JJJ said, Nine tails is a already old Monster of Japanese culture, same thing as Kappa, or Tengu, or Miyabi Ninjyo. You can also see monsters of other cultures, I believe the whole moskovia is based on russian myths, while gryphons and medusas are greek myths. But RO got a lot of random monsters with no really explanations (Alicel/Aliot, Beelz, Vesper).

Poki

I don't think of RO as being similar to pokemon lol.  It could be thought the other way around >:O

Pokemon is copying RO.

Pokemon is about five million years younger.

*cough* i wasn't the one that pointed that out x3

but ya thats true....
but i think the basis behind the alicel, aliot, and other kiel monsters is basically a story about robots gone bad (lol theres like a thousand movies about this)

and beelzebub.... its another name for the devil, the name was mostly used in Shakespearian time ... it pop's up in one of his plays too

so i wouldn't say there random myths Dx
i'd say every creature, and every monster, has an origin =P

like one of the new monsters in 13.1, its a unicorn =P one of the most popular myths =P

PS: anyone know what the beginner's fly wings and butterfly wings are going to do? im curious about this XD they seem cool <3

Sarin

Actualy, the name of devil is Belzebub. Beelzebub is kinda...joke? on that motive.

~~T~~

Beelzebub (Manhwa) - Godly RuneKnight/Swordman that taught Chaos how to use the strongests sword skills.
Beelzebub (Game) - Bee Man.

Well I just grabbed a new version of eAthena this morning, updated server, and lo + behold, the new skill window is in... it kept crashing until I updating sakray... new buttons. I was so confused as to what was going on there... anyway, the skills are currently just pictures. But having the "Apply" and "Undo" buttons (or so I assume, they're in Korean) is so neat... you put the points in and skills unlock, if you cancel, they disappear.

But no descriptions. So if you don't know what the skills are to begin with, you're kinda screwed in that department.

Beelzebub (Reality) - Philistinian God. "Ba‘al Zebûb" means "Lord of things that fly".
