I've been going through different servers and have come across a more unique variation of the valkyrie helmet



But it doesn't have a horn or whatnot. Bear with me, I'm pretty new to the RO universe (under a week) so I was wondering; is it obtainable on official servers or is it some special custom sprite some severs have for a donation item.

Thats the default Light Blue Valk Helm that usually 99% of custom private servers use. Comes in many colors. If i remember someone made a korean signature with a whole bunch of colors on it.

Most cases its not a donation item, Unless some servers feel like ripping you off :P

Custom item indeed. Can anyone confirm if that came out before the "real" Valkyrie Helmet?

Iro made a small version and a not total rip of it called wings of signrun or something like that lol

That Valk helm that someone made looks just like the one Lenneth wears in Valkyrie Profile.
I'm pretty sure that's where they got the inspiration for it from anyway.

I remember that too; the creator stated such in their download page on RUNE. I just realized I have this in my own repository of sprites... and I don't know where it actually came from.
For the love of god, people, stop posting topics about recruiting staff on this forum, or indeed any forum. If you really feel the need to publicize the fact you're incapable of running your own server, and as such, must rely on someone you know nothing about as a crutch, be prepared to deal with the consequences, as people who go deliberately looking for GM positions are most likely as dumb as the inept server owner in question, if not moreso.

People offering paid services may or may not be screwing you over, depending on the product. Web designers? There's quite a good few out there; many take time to do their work, and charge quite a bit as a result. Just be sure you're not getting someone elses' website, rebranded for quick cash. If you hire someone to do things such as install customs for you, give up running a server. You're wasting time and letting someone take advantage of your stupidity.

more like grav ripped the whole image of lenneth for their own rendition of a valk anyway...

i mean sure there are other games trying to rip off RO, but it's not like RO didn't rip off other games etc...
