Yesterday someone posted about VShield, which is a program that prevents hacks/wpe/etc. Well, it's by Zapbomb and Zone, and it was some Pinoy trying to sell it off. He posted on eAthena as well, and they've since removed the guy's post (not sure if they banned him yet), as did RMS, but this is just another warning to all server owners who think there's any legitimacy to this fool's crap.
I went ahead and e-mailed him yesterday when he posted to see how much he'd "charge" and he finally got back around to contacting me with the following:

So, Brent Samson, "
brenackie@yahoo.com", is trying to "charge" $50 for someone else's work, which, I hiiiiiiiighly doubt he has the software to begin with, so you're better off NOT paying him, but instead reporting him the next time he tries to pull this stunt. Hopefully no one's been scammed by him yet, and hopefully no one does get scammed by him in the future.
