So a friend of mine who hosts a server wants to nerf GTB but in doing so, he would also have to reduce the effect of nullifying debuffs and such. So should he nerf it or let its effects stay that way and make it have really low drop rate? Or is there another solution?

What are the rates of your friend's server, and the rest of those details. lol

Cause if it's LR/MR/HR(99/70).., then GTB isn't that OP, especially with a drop rate of ~0.05

Loki

Its actually a 99/70 server high rate and all. He wants it to be a PvP server so everything is pretty much obtainable. He can't figure out how to edit the script of the GTB card without removing the immune to debuffs and such.

Theorycraft is fine.

If it's a PvP server.. everyone with GTB might ruin the experience. Or even having immune to buffs since it allows for tagging against support profs..

tough situation, ask yourself, or your friend.. how much does GTB contribute to PvP? it nullifies wizzies, makes a good tag vs heavy debuff classes (prof, hp) but these are vital in teamplay.

I'd remove it, or melee classes are most likely going to dominate (cough, sinx).

Could just replace/overwrite the card effect with a custom one that only gives like.. 50% reduction. Instead if editting mechanics, no?

He has to put in the immunity to debuffs individually for each status.
