Contacting GMs

I'm curious. I've given out my AIM/MSN in addition to home and cell phone (to co-staff and people who are frequently online) - what have/would you give your fellow staff members and/or players if they needed to contact you?

Do you figure that once you step away from the computer, no one has the right to call you and tell you to come back to it? Or do you think it's best to give a number to call in case an emergency arises? :x

For regular players, forums and support ticket if I'm not in game.

I have all the staff members and a few trusted players on MSN.

1 GM and 1 friend/trusted player have my phone number to call me if the server goes down and needs my input to start it back up somehow or any other kind of emergency, the GM also has remote access to the computer.

If it's not an emergency and I'm not on msn then I'm off limit living my life and I wanna be left alone usually, they can leave a message and I'll read it when I get back ^_^;

I also have aim/msn on my phone so I put them up too. Everyone on staff had my number, as well.

I just give my YM, but I almost always online with my YM for 20/7 if not 24/7

My GM information has always been available to the public.   Of course all my GM IM's are ran on a separate computer, to avoid people spamming my main PC =3  Security protocol ^^

Either way,  I never believed in turning down anyone looking for help.  As long as they are appropriate and kind about it.

anyway, i tend just to give out my contact info to anyone that wants it, =3
and if they want help or anything they usually bug me on msn or PM me cause i tend to go afk alot XD

Also, JJJ, its just a joke, nothing sexist or anything. If you look at previous posts, mostly its female members who have replied. Is active, intelligent forum whore males getting extinct in RO? I see more female members than males in RMS now a days...

Anyways, I believe the staff have the rights to contact you if there's any problems with the server. Well, they were hired to fix problem weren't they? And if there's one that they couldn't fix, its up to the higher ups which is the server owner to fix it.

I give all follow staff and a few close player friends the main email and players who just want my email the "fake" one.
I use both, but the main one more.
