Sniper in WoE Help.

Okay, most of the sniper guides for I've seen for WoE just mainly says, "Be a FA/Trapper", But I wanna try a sniper that can kill with it's DS, normal attacks, or auto-blitz. Is it possible? This is for WoE, need builds and equips for a 30/20/20 rate, 150/70 leveled server, server is just new so I may have a chance to rock in WoE, preferably auto-blitz WoE builds.

Well... You can try to be a status bow (stun, curse, sleep, whatever) type; however in WoE, ppl would usually outpot (and will most often bring Royal Jellies which negates any status effects) you and while you're spamming DS, their HP usually restores fater than how much you damage em cause of WoE's damage reduction. The result? You'd be out of SP/SP items while the guy you're trying to keep at bay is prolly at point blank range w/ full/near-full HP and ready to smash you.

Most ppl would say a trapper is good cause snipers can't deliver OHKO's or near KO attacks - unless your opponent's undergeared. Plus, if you go trapper, you'd have a shield on(you don't need a bow to FA). But if you really insist on using DS then get the usual 2x hydra, 2x SW or 3x hydra, SW +10 Compo Bow...

Yes they may output DS builds, but how about an auto-blitz? With +30 luk from gloria, I'd have around 30-50% chance to auto-blitz em with 1k damage, plus doing decent damage, and I don't need SP for falconer.

Actually, DS can dish out pretty good dps. But the problem is, low hitpoints, low vit, no thara. Result? Squished within seconds. That goes for all bow builds except sharpshooting, but it has quite low DPS, and is used just as complement to traps for its AoE.

DS build has some nice DPS usually.
I prefer crit dps builds for snipers though.

Just a quick question, will a falconer build own in WoE? If I'm able to do decent arrow damage with around 40-50% chance for 1k blitz, will it work?

well, depends on server. If your teammates can provide decent cover for you so you don't get blasted instantly, autoblitz will be good. Until someone sets up pneuma.

Unless your high priests are smart enough to use safety wall there first.

I think thatwhatever is cast later overrides the previous.

Really?  Hmm, last time I did it, I used safety wall first and couldn't cast pneuma on top of it.  I guess they changed it then.

I dunno if you can cast it directly on it, but you can cast pneuma one square away from it, and it will take effect over SW. I've seen champs doing that to cancel out SW before asura.

Whoa,  I've never heard of that.  Well, I guess we'll just need to spam more than one safety wall there then.

Does not take away the effect of SW.  I always set up a Pneuma outside my SW when in PvP when SinX's try to grimtooth.

DS damage is horrible.  Sharpshoot is better.  Make use of Cranial swapping, elemental converters, and status arrows.

oh yes it does. Pneuma has 3x3 cell radius, maybe you set it two squares away from SW.

Well if you do insist on using an auto-blitzer then remember that you're gonna be taking down ppl one by one and in WoE, finding a person w/o some sort of backup nearby's almost nigh impossible. Bragi, Shapshooting, Sniper Suit's good to go for this i guess.
