Rate My Gypsy Build

Well, Hi, I am new in this forum, and I kinda feel bad that my first post is asking for help/rating, but oh well...

Before I post my build I would like to say that it is a FS Gypsy, that means ZERO ( 0 ) TAROT OR ARROW VULCAN

Well, here it is :




Explaining the stats :

Str : For weight purposes, pots, speed pots, blue pots
Agi : For the ASPD, because I've been told that the higher the ASPD then the faster you spam scream, and also for the movement speed in Please Don't Forget Me / Slow Grace
Vit : Well, obviously for the HP and for the more regeneration from HP pots
Int : For the SP and also for the bonus in Gypsy's Kiss
Dex : Well, those 2 points were left overs
Luk : For the bonus in Lady Luck / Fortune's Kiss

Well, rate/comment/give me advises on how this build is, thank you

I'd use Marc over ED. You'll need priest to heal you sometimes, and chances of getting stonecursed is mininmal, as you actually don't attack anyone.

Tarot is, I think, needed. You can Tarot and keep a song going at same time, using quickamp via weapon switching. I'd say kill the luk and bring down str and agi a bit, and use the points in dex. Unless you have a Bragi going there all the time, you can also switch diablo rings for expert rings for Tarot.

As for healing, I'd recommend using Aloe Leaflets becuase of their little weight, and decent healing capabilities. You'll have enough free carry weight then.

Thanks Sarin for the advices, I'll think about the Marc over ED thing, but definetivaly (wrong spelling I know) I won't drop de luk, if you read I said like 0 tarot, there's other gypsys and clowns with more dex for that, and de luk helps de Sharp Shooting snipers get the 100% critical chance ( well, actually 80% since SS already provides 20%), so luk actually helps a lot, also, I think, I heard/read somewhere that scream spam is affected by ASPD, hence why the high agi, would someone tell me if this is wrong or right?

Also, I use Mastela Fruit, they heal A LOT more than aloe leaflet and only weight 1 more, and Mastela can be bought in Hugel, while aloe leaflet need to be farmed

The only thing I'd swap out of that build is the leaf cat, Get a leib olmai if you're using ED, You'll need the fire resist. Not to mention the main precast is usually meteor storm and the main water things can be tanked easier

I googled your server and it looked fairly populated, Tarot is good but with 50 people on the screen scream would be more effective, So good choice >:3

I would recomend sticking with ED, Unless you can get 2 gemini cards because with highly populated servers, Theres a good chance snipers will sharp shoot everyone with earthen bow(10% stone curse chance, Then you're out of the battle for a bit)

Though, 99% of people are ganna have stun resist, I'd say just stick to scream.

Yeah, actually a guildy said me to switch to Leib Omai, I forgot to hunt for it, so yeah, I already had that in mind,

Forgot to tell you the server specs.

500/500/100 = so easy zeny farming in wild roses/moscovia and easy lvling
400 + people online = so WoE is fairly populated so tarot spamming would be difficult, at least for me, but as I said before, there are other people in my guild doing that

ASPD/agi don't seem to affect scream(On RMS test server,) or unnoticable to me, The difference between 1 agi and 200 seems to be nothing(fix'd at 3 secs?)

-after skill delay works though, So your armor combo will have an effect, 2 expert rings would make you scream 10% faster if you don't need the 200 HP/SP from diab rings.

I'd assume theres reset on those rates, So just try it out on your server.

Aye. From what I have seen, agi doesn't effect scream. If you want epically fast scream, just run over a Bragi song. Then spam it.

ASPD affects Scream VERY significantly under Poem. Tested and proven. With fast fingers I was screaming roughly 5 times per second, about 2-3 more than the enemy Gypsy.

Stats are great, I would personally get more INT/DEX (for Slow Grace and Service for You) and a little less AGI/STR, but that varies server to server and player to player, of course. I play more of a linked speed-potting Slow Grace/Ugly Dance spamming Gypsy. Tarot isn't really needed in large WoE servers, especially if you are THE FS Gypsy of the guild.

EQs are perfect.

Just fyi, agi has effect (ASPD) on ALL skills (with the exception of a few), it just becomes more noticeable (or only noticeable) once you get bragi'd / -aftercast delay gear.

Your build looks great, it covers all points and your equips are fine, and imo if you need a heal.. you can always tag unfrozen then tag back to ed or main unfrozen until something appears on screen that can stone you.

Oh yeah, what other gear do you switch around.

Well, thanks for the aspd-spam scream, now I see that my agi is in good use.

The equipments I switch around are :

Another Rope[4] 3 Fabre 1 Golem for stopping the song
Sunglasses[1] with Lieb Olmai
Diabolus Ring with Alligator
Rope [4] 3 Cecil Damon 1 Golem ( for more aspd and faster scream )


and that's it.

I am also planning on getting a G. Pipe for the reducction
Combat Knife for the reducction also
And I don't know if switch the BG gear for V. Armor, Diabolus Manteu and Diabolus Boots/Variant Shoes

What do you think about changing the gear for that?

You'll want to keep the combo you have now for the - skill delay to scream spam.
