That's right. If you are seeing a weird presentation of
ratemyserver.net at the moment, make sure you press F5 to refresh your browser. This is my first greetings to all of you in 2010. After looking at the same layout for years (3 years at least?) aren't you glad there is finally something new? I know it's not a complete makeover -.-, that is because there are too many elements on the site that need to be changed to match a complete makeover. So there are only slight changes for the better while keeping the overall theme unchanged.
Other than the layout, improvement to site navigation is another focus. Notice there is now a menu bar at the top of the page. It's to increase accessibility to the third column menu links when viewing two columns pages. There are not a lot of links on there yet, I am leaving some room for growth. The only new pages up there are the
Random Review and
Random Server pages. Try them and see for yourself.
The year's plan for RMS so far is to improve the review system both in layout and functionality. There were many great suggestions made to the review system that need to be implemented. I am fully aware that another update is due to catch up with the current RO server presentations and players searching requirements. Depending the amount of changes need, I can't say when it will be completed. Especially routine database updates will likely to go in between.
That concludes my quarterly report for RMS lol. If you still see things misplaced or errors on pages, you should report them to me. Or feel free to make any suggestion for the better. More change is yet to come, stay tooned!
